Imagine the next step. Then take it.
A practice has somewhere to go when it ends in an action. This is what a day in Jamie’s experiment might look like.
Settle into the practice
Take a moment to arrive. Keep your breathing comfortable. Optional audio can give the session a beginning and an end.
Find something to listen to →Rehearse a specific action
Jamie pictures opening the draft, writing the first line of an email, and sending it. The focus is a doable action, with room for things to go differently.
Act, then record what happened
After the practice, Jamie sends the email and makes a brief entry. Honest “no” days and unsettled days belong in the record too.
A completed daily entry
- Steadiness today
- 6 out of 10
- Took the planned action?
- Yes
- Outward move
- Sent one email to ask about an opening.
- A setback worth recording
- I delayed starting. Making the first step smaller helped me begin.
A single day does not tell us whether the practice helped. The experiment compares the whole record with the criterion chosen at the start.
Fictional example. Nothing on this screen is saved to your journal or starts your experiment.
The next month can tell you more.
Choose a question small enough to test. Write what would count before you start. Rehearse the action, do it, and record what happened—including the days when nothing did. At the end, return to the original criterion.
PRO makes that a continuing practice. You can run another experiment, try a comparison template, build a longer protocol, and review patterns across your own record. A personal experiment can help you notice what fits your life; it does not establish universal causes.
Ask better questions.
Ten comparison templates give a question a concrete shape: process versus outcome imagery, a meaningful object versus a neutral one, or audio versus its comparison. Conditions alternate by week, with a descriptive review at the end.
Know what to do today.
The Protocol Lab turns an intention, obstacles and available time into a sequence of actions. PRO adds 14-, 30- and 90-day protocols, saved versions and comparisons. The seven-day starter is free.
Keep the record together.
Run further experiments without replacing the first. Review the months side by side, see descriptive findings when there is enough data, and export your record whenever you want.
Give attention a place to settle.
Use the existing binaural tone controls as optional session ambience. Explore a symbolic number profile with its label intact. These are prompts for experience and reflection; frequencies and symbols are not presented as forces that deliver outcomes.
See a session before you commit.
A fictional job-search experiment shows the whole sequence: the criterion written before day one, a tiny outward action, and a daily check-in. Explore it before putting anything in your own journal.
The Practice Studio brings your action, rehearsal, optional audio and reflection into one session. Try it free, save a draft on this device, and return when you are ready. A session note stays separate from your experiment results.

The Studio and fictional sample do not start or lock an experiment. Studio notes are saved only when you choose Save, and stay on this device.
A week with an idea.
A short member fieldguide connects an experience, a source, a symbolic reminder and a useful action. It includes a fictional worked example, daily record prompts, a final review and a written settling practice. Read it here, print it or download a copy.

A few things to know.
Is PRO a membership or a one-time purchase?
The current PRO offer is $49 once, with no automatic renewal. The checkout in the app shows the current offer before payment. A larger membership with expanded audio, visual tools and research collections is still being developed; those planned features are not part of this offer.
Will this tell me whether manifestation is real?
It will help you keep a more honest record of a particular practice in your life. Your original criterion stays fixed. The review reports observations and descriptive comparisons; it does not turn coincidences into evidence or prove that a practice caused an outcome.
What happens to my free experiment?
It stays in your record. Buying PRO adds the ability to continue and compare. Your first experiment, its final review and exports remain available without buying PRO.
Where is my journal saved?
The app saves on this device first. Signing in enables backup of submitted experiment entries and saved protocols. Open Account & backup to check the status and review available records before restoring them on another device. Studio notes stay on this device and have their own export. Export regularly, especially before clearing browser storage. See the privacy page for the data policy.
Do I have to believe in numbers or frequencies?
No. Symbolic material is optional and kept separate from the experiment’s results. Audio is optional too. The core is a criterion, a practice, an action and a record.
Can I start with paper?
Yes. The existing 30-Day Workbook is available separately for $9. The digital experiment is free to try, so you can see the method before deciding which format you prefer.
Your next question deserves a clear record.
Start small. Keep the observations. See what you learn.
